What is conveyancing?
Conveyancing deals with the transfer of immovable property, the hypothecation of immovable property with mortgage bonds and the execution of various other acts with regard to immovable property.
It is further the branch of our legal system that deals with the preparation of deeds and documents for registration or filing in the Deeds Office.
Only a conveyancer, practising as such in the Republic, may prepare and sign or execute certain deeds and documents to be registered in the deeds registry.
